The hosting association Verein Forum für Sport und Gesellschaft invites everyone interested to an event, that is seeking to explore the interdependencies between sport and society. It is long overdue that football is seen both as a men's game AND a women's game.

Both genders kick the same ball, on the same pitch. Differences emerge not on but off the pitch - with regards to careers, salaries, in marketing, in municipalities and communities and inside the fanbase. Even Girls emulate the male stars in the game. Who is the point of reference, the leading figure? Where does equality start? How can equality be fostered? 

We are looking forward to interesting talks with:
Dr. Marianne Meier – Research Associate Gender and Development at University of Bern – Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies IZFG
Bänz Friedli – Author – Comedian and fan of women's football
Tatjana Hänni – Responsible for Women's Football at Swiss Football Association SFV

The session will be chaired by Seraina Degen – Sports Journalist at SRF and THE expert on women's football in Switzerland
